1. What is the primary purpose of this machine?

A: This equipment is designed for Rapid PCB Prototyping. It eliminates the need for mold-making or outsourcing, saving both time and costs. It directly converts Gerber and AutoCAD DXF files into physical circuit boards. It is ideal for R&D units focusing on:

● PCB Prototyping / RF Design / Microwave High-Frequency Antennas
● Patch Antennas
● Array Antennas
● IoT and Bluetooth Communication Module Development

2. Which materials can be processed?

A: The machine can process a variety of PCB substrates, including FR4, Rogers, High-Frequency boards, and Aluminum-clad substrates (depending on the tooling). It is specifically optimized for high-frequency and antenna applications.

3. What is the engraving precision?

A The minimum line width and spacing is approximately 4 mil (0.1 mm). This meets the requirements for most electronic circuits, RF, and high-frequency board designs.

4. Does it support double-sided PCBs?

AYes. The equipment features a CCD Vision Alignment System, which ensures precise registration between the top and bottom layers for double-sided boards.

5. EP-42AUTO 跟 EP-42NV 差在哪?

ABoth models offer the same level of precision; the difference lies in the level of automation:

Feature EP-42AUTO EP-42NV
Tool Change Automatic Manual
Workflow Fully Automated Semi-Automated
Efficiency High Standard

6. Is the machine difficult to operate?

A: Not at all. The system supports:
● Direct import of Gerber and DXF files.
● Automatic toolpath generation.
● Multilingual interface (Chinese and English).

7. Do I need to purchase the PCAM software separately?

A: No. The dedicated software is included as standard equipment with the machine. There are no additional licensing fees, and software updates are free for life.

8. What is the expected lifespan of the cutting tools?

A: Lifespan varies based on the material and usage. We recommend keeping spare tools on hand to maintain consistent quality.
Standard FR4: Can typically process dozens of boards or more.
High-Frequency Boards: Tool life is slightly shorter due to material density.

9. Can it perform drilling and contour routing?

A: Yes. This is an all-in-one system that integrates drilling, circuit engraving, and contour cutting (routing).

10. How fast is the processing speed?

A: Speed depends on the complexity of the PCB layout, but it is significantly faster than the 2–3 day turnaround required for outsourcing.
Simple circuits: Approx. 10–30 minutes.
Complex circuits: Approx. 1–2 hours.

11. Which industries is this suitable for?

A:
● Antenna and RF Design Firms
● Communication Equipment Manufacturers
● Corporate Electronics R&D Departments
● Universities and Research Institutes

12. What are the advantages over outsourcing PCB prototypes?

A: The primary advantages are:
● Instant Iteration: Complete modifications on the same day.
● Cost Reduction: Lower long-term prototyping expenses.
● IP Protection: Keep sensitive designs and technology in-house.

13. Does it require a specialized environment?

A: No. It is suitable for a standard office or laboratory environment.
Power requirements: 110V / 220V.
